Hey all, just wanted to share about the ISO setting and what they are.

Have been to China for vacation, and discussed a lot with my father about the ISO setting (he has the Canon 30D), so this is how ISO works:
ISO basically higher value = more sensitive to light source, so more ISO = brighter picture, with the down side of more noises.
You might ask, I can take lower noise picture with lower ISO and I didn't noticed any difference with the brightness at all, so why high ISO?
As you can imagine, high sensitivity of light need shorter shutter speed, particulary useful when taking pictures in the night. If you have the tripod or something or you have super steady hands, lower ISO definitely take better picture with lower shutter speed, but suffer when taking moving object or shaky hands. So adjust according to your need, normally day time need low ISO, and higher ISO more suitable in low light condition.
I think K850 has auto shutter speed and light source adjustment, so you won't sense much difference with different ISO, but I guess lower ISO in low light condition will easily blur cause the shutter speed is slower.
