haha.... but i think u will feel very happy afte upgrading rite since itz really a huge difference... haha... altho itz still haven reach the peak performance, but i think is ok for me lo... wont expect too much from a hp cam...the hole tat u r saying is the sensor...

K850i comes with few pieces of screen protector. there's one peice which sticks to the back of the phone. so this might be the culprit of the dark photos? it was really annoying to me too as for such high-end camera phone, where u expect it the outperform others, performs like this. dissapointing. gonna try again & update the outcome here. thanks for the help.

so when it's too bright or too dark, just play around with the exposure settings w/o using the flash? 

Updated to the latest firmware. Flash sync has improved greatly, but still not very good. Sometimes still get very dark pics, but no more pitch black pics. I think the dot beside the LED is somekind of sensor and if you are using some protection such as silicone casing, plastic casing it may affect that sensor. So I'm making a hole in my silicone case.

Beside that phone speed overall has increase greatly. Media browser speed is super fast now plus now got trasition animation when scrolling throught pics.

Camera option menu changed abit. Last time when you scroll to the multioptions tab have to select ok then only will access it. Now will automatically access it.

Overall it was worth updating.

Its almost a week Sofia and i have been together  , and i found a few bugs along the way  . Though its the latest firmware (R1EA031) yet sometimes this baby boots itself. I've read through the internet and a few has also encountered this problem. and yesterday out of a sudden the shutter button is not working. no matter how many times i pressed the shutter won't opened. Even after several reboots. only after i took the battery off and put it back then everything went back to normal again. Did any of u guys experience this bugs???
