hello sifusss,

I just got myself a bike, and would just like to explore and ride around,

Is there any nice and easy (not too much cornering, not too confident yet), and not too much cars route that i can ride near Klang Valley.
Preferable not just highway, wanna see some trees

Most popular is the Ulu Yam route, Not too difficult, you can go slow just to see the trees. Many other routes available and I'm sure the riding vets here will be able to share with you. I like the Negeri Sembilan routes though. Less traffic

My favorite routes when i started out and to kautim the itch quickly

1. Quick vroom vroom run
KL (Midvalley) > MEX > Putrajaya/Cyberjaya (ronda-ronda) > MEX > KL

2. Bendy training run
KL (Midvalley) > Federal Highway (motolane) > I-city (u-turn) > Federal Highway > KL

Other routes are Janda Baik, Ulu Yam, etc. etc.

All also can see trees (some near, some far) biggrin.gif

Take a ride to sekinchan or morib...not the best road conditions but still a decent ride

I would vote N9 for the scenery ride.. but to upskill your riding experience, especially going through corners is either Ulu Yam or Karak highway

Note KKIC or TTKong still not recommended at the moment due to the bad road condition.

Batang Kali to Gohtong Jaya still closed.

I always find my daily route to be enjoyable especially on the DASH, just easy on the cornering as the road can get a bit bumpy

Try riding to Temiang-Pantai highway. Not too many cars, and nice sceneries.

The whole of Langkawi island is damn nice to ride around in. Wife & I rode there twice last year. Not much traffic, easy to ride all around the island stopping by all the nice beaches for nice food. A lot of it is kampung road, so the usual caveats apply lah i.e. don't ride like a pillock, don't try wake up the dead with your loud exhaust.

Not exactly in the Klang Valley, but when you're ready to get the hell outta Dodge it's a nice riding destination.

If you like straight roads, take the LATAR highway to Pantai Remis. Breakfast by the beach. Brave enough for the coastal trunk roads? Continue north to Bagan Dato or take the WCE all the way to Sitiawan, Teluk Intan or even Lumut.

Just discovered another nice winding route from Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi to Bukit Unggul/Beirut Starting point. If you want, can continue to Semenyih.

Hmm, I would just recommend roads along bukit tunku in the early morning. Since most of traffic would be just bicycle and joggers.

There's people who do street photography for you too and upload it. You can buy from their website.

Overall cold and moist.
