Among the K-Pop idols to try it, LE SSERAFIM‘s Sakura and BLACKPINK‘s Jennie pulled off two different ways to wear the style.

At the time of LE SSERAFIM’s debut, Sakura put a sporty twist on the trend for “FEARLESS”. She wore white thong straps to compliment the white detailing on her athletic shorts.

Her bright pink crop top added to the sporty vibe and gave it a pop of girlish playfulness. Sakura didn’t forget to serve confidence with her facial expressions, though.

Proving once again that BLACKPINK are trendsetters, Jennie wore the style back in 2020 for “Pretty Savage” and took an edgier route. Her thong straps were silver Cuban link chains to match her other bold accessories.

The thong straps were attached to baggy jeans and paired with a fitted crop top for a feminine touch on street style. While Sakura pulled off the playful and sporty vibe, Jennie radiated charisma and sexiness. And they both looked good doing it.
