QUOTE(gilbert @ Oct 14 2007, 06:10 AM) By virtue of the photo number (if u set to continuous numbering). Anyway, why bother about shutter count? Bcoz i heard about DSLR camera have lifespan with shutter count, is it all camera r same? But every timei bought new camera i will feel the focus very fast when first used, later on the focus will getting slower as i snap too much photo. |

The shutter on dslr cameras are different. But every timei bought new camera i will feel the focus very fast when first used, later on the focus will getting slower as i snap too much photo. dslr shutters are not as long lasting. but i agree on you... Slowly shutters on normal cameras will get slower as it gets older or more used. |

QUOTE(calvin_gsc @ Oct 14 2007, 11:33 AM) The shutter on dslr cameras are different. The shutter is not the only thing to worry about as the shutter counts increase... other parts of the camera also start to wear out proportionally. It gives a general idea how worn out the whole camera is. Buttons can get stuck, motors jam, LCDs die out, electronics act funny, etc. My personal experience is that the automatic lens cover for my late Powershot gets stuck at times and needs to be opened with my fingernails...dslr shutters are not as long lasting. but i agree on you... Slowly shutters on normal cameras will get slower as it gets older or more used. Anyhow, does anyone know how many shutter counts a normal compact cam is rated for? |
