Thousands of people have taken part in a demonstration in central Berlin to protest against giving more weapons to Ukraine, urging the German government to deescalate the crisis by paving the way for negotiations with Vladimir Putin instead.

Police estimated there were 13,000 people at the Uprising for Peace, at the Brandenburg Gate, organised by Sahra Wagenknecht, a renegade member of the Links party, and veteran feminist campaigner Alice Schwarzer.

The organisers claimed as many as 50,000 took part. Similar demonstrations took place in other German cities.

Not matter what, US will keep on selling weapons to Ukraine.

you mistaken the purpose of US supplying weapons already, US do not directly supply the weapon to Ukraine, they go through middleman, their own politicians, then to Ukraine politicians, 2 groups of middleman tax 2 time d, maybe 100b only left 20b when reaching the soldiers, both side telan 40b, those politicians dont care if US can get back the money or not, they only care how much they can telan.
