thats what i thought too.. and also, putting vege can also reduce the foul odour of cooked meat i guess?
actually the entire process of dismemberment, IMO, is to destroy evidence soonest possible. According to this famous taiwanese forensic pathologist uncle ( always appear on tv when there is some murder case in taiwan ) who recently give his views on this case, he said that :-
1) unlikely boil the meat to eat because when an animal is aged more than 3 years, the texture is not nice.
2) remove head and limbs totally make sense, cause those are the parts we could used to identify people ( eg. finger print ).
3) cook/boil the meat can destroy DNA
So basically processing the body can leave no evidence behind at the fastest rate, as compared to bury the body somewhere since decomposition takes time. I was thinking burn could be alternative, but because HK is a small place, so burn in an open area could raise suspicious tho. No idea.
Also, we need to know that the mastermind or the ex-father in law was a police.
I seriously wondering what the person went through in his mind when processing the body...

fuh.. the next psycho killer butcher is taking notes on these..
