QUOTE(TiramisuCoffee @ Feb 28 2023, 08:57 PM) Somewhere in this thread (or maybe I read about it else where) did mention that this man was involved in gold investments. Using dating apps, he lured other guys (or gays?) to meet up then he cheated/ scammed them?Nothing good about this guy 😅 He was charged in court but never turned up. So many charges accumulated over the past 10 years. 😒 |

What if Abby’s remaining body parts are not found, there will be a lack of evidence to charge the in-laws for murder?
and if the suspects plead NOT guilty and are convicted of manslaughter, they might get away with just a fine? No mention yet if her mobile phone was recovered. Someone might be "keeping her hands" to unlock her phone (using her finger print, then buried it else where) and try to transfer money away... or to delete her photos? The mpv had no dashcam or it could have been removed by someone? |

QUOTE(tahfeikei @ Mar 1 2023, 07:26 PM) nobody seems to have any interest in that missing ( but now found dead) english woman ( nicola bulley) in the river wyre. did you follow this news? Recent years, lots of missing persons cases. Usually I just read and don't really follow closely. But this Abby’s case is different. It's closer to us, reports are in Cantonese. I can understand. Today got friend told me, her body has been chopped to over 30 parts. 😱 Her ex's family all sot sot one. So cruel. I wonder if it has to do with covid lockdown over recent years. tahfeikei liked this post

Apparently Abby and Chris Tam (her hb) had been childhood sweethearts as they both studied in the same international school, having known each other since they were 10 years old.
She married her-ex probably she got pregnant. No choice. Her mom is rich, running some business in China. Two years later, she had another child before they separated after 3 years marriage. All those years she was supporting her ex-in law family because of their 2 kids. Providing a luxury place for them to stay as well. She was just too nice and was taken advantage by her ex-in laws. Her mom has close relationship with Chris Tam. ![]() |

QUOTE(Namelessone1973 @ Mar 3 2023, 07:41 PM) HK is different. Even the poor will put their kids in the good schools. Her ex-FIL resigned in 2005 after allegedly being involved in a rape case. The father in law is a police which pays quite well in HK. I don't think they are poor. Probably middle class. Since then, no news about that he has been doing. The luxury flat that they were staying, was under his name but paid by Abby. Somehow he managed to buy another property which he not supposed to be eligible to purchase. (Something like it's for ppl from a certain bracket of earnings (not rich) but he got it. And he has a mistress who helped to rent places to hide Abby’s ex-hb. I think the village house (which Abby's body parts were found) also rented by her. This family very complicated one leh 😅😅 |

QUOTE(N9484640 @ Mar 4 2023, 09:33 PM) Yeah, I read this. Abby’s ex-father-in-law has reportedly hired a number of lawyers following his arrest, and recently, he asked his lawyers to reach out to Abby’s current in-laws and send them the message. Shameless ex-in-law family. Never stop milking money from her, even after she's dead. eric coprasso liked this post

The 7th suspect...
Irene Pun Hau-yin, is a social media influencer whose identity has been revealed, living a lavish lifestyle in the upscale residence of The Cullinan above Kowloon Station together with her sister Zoe. Their father was rumoured to be imprisoned when they were younger and he reportedly runs a bar now. Some netizens said that her family also lives at The Hermitage in Mong Kok. It is unknown if they have moved from The Hermitage to The Cullinan recently. Reportedly, Pun is suspected of introducing the 41-year-old person-in-charge, Lam at a yacht company to Alex Kwong Kong-chi. She is active on social media platforms and has been dubbed as an “Instagram goddess” by netizens, with over 30,000 followers on her Instagram account. Looking through her past posts, it can be seen that she is acquainted with several celebrities, including Louis Koo, William Kwan, film producer Raymond Wong and Owen Cheung Chun-long, with whom she took photos. Poon also also maintains an Instagram account which shows her recipes. She reportedly wears expensive designer clothing and when she was arrested today, she was spotted wearing Chanel ankle boots. ![]() After the dismemberment case, Irene was suspected of helping Alex Kwong escape from Hong Kong and was afraid of being implicated. She fled to Shenzhen to avoid the investigation. However, after the Serious Crime Unit investigated her immigration records, they requested assistance from Chinese authorities to capture her. She was eventually apprehended, and today, she was repatriated to Hong Kong and handed over to the police for further investigation into the details of the dismemberment case. Pun reportedly went to Seoul for holiday on 17th February, one week before Abby Choi’s body was discovered on 24th February. |
