Government to build more than 7,000 affordable homes for members of the armed forces.
RM500 million to repair homes of security forces’ members.


The government will also build 42 new security posts at borders nationwide.


Nearly RM1 billion to improve domestic security including the purchase of 2,100 body cameras for policemen.
RM18.5 billion for home ministry and RM17.7 billion for defence ministry. This includes RM4.1 billion for the maintenance and purchase of new military assets.

Crazy la. Only 6k extra fall into 2% tax bracket. I already supporting my B40 family members now being taxed more. I eat meggi only la every month...

Read one of the earlier comment. Only the 6k extra going to be taxed 2%. I hope its not going to be a burden.

Yes. So after offset everything, only those really wealthy will feel the pain.

Normal m40 or bottom t20 wont be impacted that much.

Yea.

If your yearly income is 100k to 200k, I don't think much impact. If your yearly salary is 900k, then of course you gonna pay more.

7k + 2 months bonus pun dah 100k. GG lol

But fortunately its progressive tax so only the amount after 100k kena that new rate.

Yes. But the higher range increase was not clearly mentioned. If only 0.5% increase from 100,001 to 250,000, then most T20 would not be affected. Only the top T5 would actually have to pay more.
