QUOTE(Skidd Chung @ Feb 22 2023, 11:38 PM) Heard really good reviews on it. Never read the book though. Most book fans give thumbs up for the series because it follows it quite accurately. it is really good series (the books I mean). the third book tho, towards the end it got weird. my favorite was the second book ('The dark forest') QUOTE(tientien @ Feb 22 2023, 11:46 PM) Story good, can read the book but don't bother watch it, boring as hell I think technology not good enough to brink the book to the screen yet. or maybe need tom cruise as lead actor. QUOTE(chtan @ Feb 23 2023, 08:53 AM) I love this drama very much. Been waiting ages for them to make it into the series from novel. The logic and philosophy behind is so in-depth and plausible compared to the stupid Marvel or DC one. Their tech. is way more believable than the snap-o-finger and everything gone. How they expand a single 9 dimensions proton into 2 dimensions and build a super AI computer onto it's dimension plane. Then squeezing it back to 11 dimensions is very convincible. The purpose of this is because the fleets cannot go faster than light. They can only send 2 proton-size supercomputers achieving light speed to earth to hinder and block our scientific advances while awaiting their main invasion fleet arrival. the dark forest is better, in terms of heroic characters. the admiral son who pretended to be a war supporter thru centuries, until last last when he had the chance, escape to space, the deceitful wife who outed her husband as a wallbreaker, the main character who had to go thru hell and back in order to finally defeat the aliens.
