Actually married a HK - while working as a Tourist Guide pre-pandemic I realised that the Cantonese around Ipoh resembles the Cantonese spoken in HK.

For example in Klang Valley, you say Yat Kau but around Ipoh it's Yat Mun

EDIT: Forgotten to add if anyone wondering why so many people HK flocking over to buy properties - I guess that's 1 factor
