Dear All,
When we buy a new property from developer, what are the usual documents and drawings that we can request from developers in order to plan for renovations especially on the electrical wiring system? Or any documents that house purchasers must get from developers to pass to future buyers?
For example, if we want to install induction cooker and powerful hood in the kitchen, we need to know whether the existing 13A socket wiring is sufficient or thick enough to bear the load or need to run another set of wires from the DB. At the moment, the only clue is the distribution board MCB rating used for this circuit.
Or drawing that shows which MCB protects which circuit, for example.
I've seen some drawings that only show lighting points, AC points and 13A socket locations in the house, but doesn't show how the cables are laid.
What doc/drawings to get from Developer?
