Hi, it will be great if anyone can help.
I'm using TM Unifi 100Mbps. My pfSense setup: ISP modem to pfSense to unmanaged switch.
My problem is everytime I restart the modem, the WAN connection will stay offline until I reboot pfSense box.
I have try gateway monitoring, disable gateway monitoring, service watch dog, restart services, dial on demand, all to no avail.
My old router can reconnect just fine if I reboot the modem.
Is there any way to make it reconnect automatically just like my old router?
Thanks!

Also, are you using realtek NIC for the WAN port? If yes, you may need to update the realtek drivers. excerpt from pfSense DocumentationDial On Demand The default behavior for a PPP link is to immediately connect and immediately attempt to reconnect when a link is lost. This behavior is described as Always On. Dial-on-Demand delays this connection attempt. When set, the firewall waits until a packet attempts to leave the via this interface to make a connection attempt. Once the firewall connects it will not automatically disconnect. Sorry for late reply. Alright, I'll re-check my setting as well read the documentation. I'm using Asix USB ethernet (I know, bad practice) for WAN and LAN is onboard realtek. Might change the setup later. Now just having fun tinkering. Thank you kind sir for replying!
