No need so new. THINKPADS are very good business class laptops, even if they are used. Very good value for money.

I am still using an x230 Thinkpad (from year 2012) that I bought used - for my presentations, every day work, data processing etc (I am a medical doctor working in a State Health Department).

Just buy one of the used/refurbished Thinkpads manufactured from recent years off Shopee. Thinkpads are built to LAST.
