when install OS with old HDD, the old hdd must be disabled or you must delete the EFI partition, otherwise Windows will just install new OS to SSD but EFI still goes into HDD,

one day if you removed HDD or it went kaput, your lappy will not be able too boot.

how to disable the hdd in BIOS?
if can disable i no need to dismantle out the hdd during install win into ssd..

or just delete the hdd efi partition in hdd then only install win to ssd ?
so that the efi will go to ssd ..

laptop model is lenovo s145-14

Try this method to de-activate the HDD from booting :-

Method 1
1) Backup all data in HDD to another storage & remove all partitions in it. Then just create a simple & single partition in it.

Method 2
1) Open (run as admin) --> CMD
2) Type --> diskpart
3) Type --> select disk 0 or 1 (depends on your HDD is either Disk 0 or Disk 1)
4) Type --> select partition 1
5) Type --> inactive
6) Type --> exit
7) Close --> CMD windows
8) Restart computer.

Hope this helps... cool2.gif
