My wife wakes up earlier than me and every time she turns on the hair dryer, it will jolt me awake from my sleep. I'm thinking of buying her a new hair dryer that produces the least noise, the current Panasonic model she is using is just too loud. The Dyson model I tried in their shop isn't exactly as quiet as I had hope for, the noise level is probably similar to some cheaper Panasonic Ionic model I tried. Anyone tried the one from Xiaomi? How's the noise level? Any other brand to recommend?

There are several hair dryers on the market that produce relatively low noise levels. Some of the best hair dryers for producing minimal noise include:

1.Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer - This hair dryer has a unique motor design that reduces noise and produces a more pleasant sound frequency.

2.Panasonic Nanoe Hair Dryer - This hair dryer has a quiet but powerful motor that delivers high airflow at a low noise level.

3.GHD Air Hair Dryer - This hair dryer has a powerful motor that operates quietly and features a specially designed airflow system that reduces noise.

4.Elchim Classic 2001 Hair Dryer - This hair dryer has a high-performance motor that operates quietly and features a ceramic heating system that reduces drying time and noise.

5.Bio Ionic Whisper Light Pro Hair Dryer - This hair dryer is designed to be lightweight and produce minimal noise, making it ideal for home or salon use.

In general, when shopping for a hair dryer that produces minimal noise, look for models that have a powerful motor, advanced airflow system, and noise-reducing technology. Additionally, consider the weight and size of the hair dryer, as larger models may produce more noise than smaller, more compact models.

You sounded like ChatGPT biggrin.gif , no offense ya, thanks for the suggestions though. Ya, Panasonic Nanoe Hair Dryer is one I found much quieter and not as expensive as Dyson. Never heard of the rest.

I have a Dyson and it’s pretty loud…I think the Sephora in Bukit Bintang might have a few hair dryer brands for that you can try out.

Wld like to find out too.
Anyway, those that I knw are pretty loud, unless using in low mode.
Dyson/Laifen/Roidmi & the likes, their motor may be quieter, but their wind noise is not, IMO.

I bought one of these from isetan as a gift some time ago...she (the recipient) said it's quieter than normal hair dryers but still there's noise...i dunno...go test one and be the judge.

found a review of it...less noise mode at approx 2min 30s
