My wife wakes up earlier than me and every time she turns on the hair dryer, it will jolt me awake from my sleep. I have a Dyson and it’s pretty loud…I think the Sephora in Bukit Bintang might have a few hair dryer brands for that you can try out.

Dyson/Laifen/Roidmi & the likes, their motor may be quieter, but their wind noise is not, IMO.

I bought one of these from isetan as a gift some time ago...she (the recipient) said it's quieter than normal hair dryers but still there's noise...i dunno...go test one and be the judge.
