The real reason is because the forum was coded that way by the creators and we never changed it
But yeah, it makes sense to continue disallowing unicode, because it opens a whole can of worms with respect to forum management. Case in point, I haven't heard of a country whose passport doesn't have its bearer's native name romanized.. |
