 Is Gamuda Land a good developer ?

Recently looking at some gamuda land's project, was wondering how is this developer doing comparing to others? I have a property from SPSetia, and the workmanship is terrible (not what people expected). Any one like to share something? yawn.gif

All developers are pretty much the same. End of the day, it all boils down to a bunch of Indonesian and Bangla onsite workers supervised by someone.

Gamuda Land invested in IBS and use IBS for their township development. Gamuda digital-ibs

Gamuda using IBS extensively.. workmanship bit off
Sime Darby and UEM Sunrise quality is better

I think they r gud, bcos I have a unit in Gamuda Gardens landed. Was worried last time township so faraway but after buying the Phase 1 Agalia and seeing the township come about nicely, no regrets

Heard sime darby development got crack and leaking issue, no?

I guess UEM better. Town development maybe Gamuda wins but not sure on house quality.

So far KK and Botanic looks good for me if want to look at their previous old development.

Latest should be Gardens and Cove

Not sure but that is from my own experience with the three developers when I purchased properties.

Township : SD and Gamuda better

House quality : UEM better than those two

Based on 257, Elmina and Symphony Hills

got the courage for launching interesting concept, but lack the execution. Build quality on par with contemporary. Had its share of high profile failure in its earlier project. Recent project seems to be more organized but also tend to overprice.

Gamuda is AA in my rating, only a handful of developers are better, I mean in terms of product quality and future appreciation
Every developer’s product positioning is different, but all have the same target, which is maximizing the profit.
However the game plan by big, average and small developer are different
Big developer like Gamuda is very strong in infrastructures, hence their strategy is to look for remote area and build their property, outskirts area land cost is relatively cheaper, so they have higher budget to focus on building quality, great infras and landscaping

Ex SP Setia (Tan Sri LKS & EcoWorld) focus on township design and landscaping, while building material is controlled by them instead of main contractor, the quality is really sucks, use the cheapest material, for large development project, the best quality should be I&P, Bandar Raya, Gamuda and E&O
