is it an Android TV? Try installing the AirScreen app on the tv and try to cast to it

there is 1 app called Web Video Caster..

it is casting video url/source to TV through chromecast.. it is not mirrorlink type ya.. just to let you know.. for much stable connection, in android TV you may install web caster video receiver.. so there is a unique code appear and your device could connect to it specifically.. once connected, you may cast video from certain webpage, apps or whatever relevant over to TV..

briefly tried yesterday coz went back late.

it was unsuccessful.

Will try again this week.
