Left my previous work last two months because I got a new job at my currenf workplace.
Before I left, my boss asked me whether I wanted to continue working with my previous project that is now a collaboration between my current company and my previous company.
I said I was ok with that arrangement since I was interested with that project. My current boss is happy to allow me to still continue with that project since it will be good for my career growth.
However I've been overwhelmed with my new work and I dont think it is possible for me to still continue with my previous project. I discussed this with my current boss and he thought it is ok for me to withdraw from that project.
How to gracefully withdraw from the project? I dont want to burn bridge.

Honesty is the best answer rather than everything mess up later.
