DVD Flick aims to be a simple but at the same time powerful DVD Authoring tool. It can take a number of video files stored on your computer and turn them into a DVD that will play back on your DVD player, Media Center or Home Cinema Set. You can add additional custom audio tracks as well as subtitles of your choice. Supported file container formats are, amongst others, AVI, MPG, MOV, WMV, ASF, FLV, Matroska and MP4. Supported codecs are amongst others, MPEG-1\2\4 (XVid, DivX, etc.), Windows Media Audio\Video. MP3, OGG Vorbis, H264, and On2 VP5\6. DVD Flick is Open Source, meaning that anyone can download and view or modify the program's source code. It also means that it is absolutely free of charge. Several external programs are used by DVD Flick to do the dirty work like encoding and combining of video material. All of these programs are free, some are Open Source too.

The main changes in version 1.3:
- Ability to generate menus based on templates. Only one template is included at the moment.
- Better calculation of video size.
- Mixed-mode DVD creation; for those DVD players that support both PAL and NTSC.
- 23.976 video material is not converted up to 29.97 FPS but Telecine is applied instead. Better quality for the same bitrate price!
- Faster subtitle rendering.
- Interface font is now the Windows 2K\XP-standard Tahoma.
- Some bigger internal changes that should be transparent to the everyday user.
- Tetris.

its super slow " encoding video @ 12fps. video size is 701MB. currently encoding till 75% which takes 2hours 40 minutes

wat is the spec of ur pc?

Changes in Version 1.3.0.4:
* Added: Option to ignore an audio track's delay (audio track edit window).
* Added: Option to verify a disc after burning it.
* Added: Option to eject the tray after burning a disc.
* Fixed: Bug that would cause menu generation to die early on.
* Changed: Better subtitle short duration detection (kbosward).

Tested this last night. Was able to convert mts to DVD and superb video quality. However, the video is running in slow motion. The audio finish way ahead of the video. Anyone has this problem?
