Drove my brother in law's car last month and it was jerking when coming to a stop. The service centre says a long queue in Sg Petani to fix the gear box. Apart from GB his car took more than 1 year to fix after a minor accident due to no spare parts. What a joke.

The jerking is a common and known issue amongst X70 owners. Many just ignore and just use the car as it is.

If you've owned a Proton car before you would understand how incompetent & shit their SC are. Their car Geely line car is good no doubt, but because of cronyism where they are only willing to source spare part from xxx race, effectively limiting themselves & creating spare part supply issue. This + their very motivated stuff = what we see today.

Other car brand aso have same problem, but at least other car brand after sales service is not as shit as Proton.

Even Honda Accord mounting cost rm2.4k+ if via SC. Buy aftermarket at rm800 also great. Be a smart consumer

Pay extra at SC for warranty. If it me. After warranty my car will full of OEM, aftermarket parts. Like my other car

OEM is ok for jap but conti OEM just dont last. Original shocks can last 5 years but OEM 1 year plus already sag and when hentam hole memang berkecai your car. After market like blistien is gooding

Yes. The earlier batch with 6 Speed. But some are reporting on the DCT as well.

DCT gets 5 years warranty on unlimited mileage though compared to the 6 Speed 3 year warranty or 60kkms.

Sked the gb kenot handle the torque.
