Hi, anyone has been using infrared gas stove for a period of time?

I am looking at swiss thomas infrared gas stove. They only promote the pros.
I would like to know the cons from any long time users here thank you.

This I would like to know especially:
How long does the ceramic mesh plate last if I cook quite often (say I cook for dinner almost every day)?
I have read online that the ceramic mesh plate can only last for 1-2 years

I'm not sure for this brand, but for your reference, I'm using Khind Infrared Gas Stove 1515 from 2010 until now. My wife cook 5 days a week, no issue on the ceramic, just the stainless steel body start yellowish already especially surrounding the burner.
