i use NFC for regular tolls and SmartTag, for bridge toll use Penang TNG at TNG lane lol, SmartTag lane always jam anyway. I rarely need to go Petrol station topup Penang TNG now

i rarely use my TnG card ever since i got RFID. but i still bought the NFC card anyway just to make it more convenient. no need to kelam kabut look for top-up place anymore.

aku bayar tol jambatan RM4.59 through RFID right from initial install.

before RFID, have to buy special TnG card at bridge's Custcare counter and prove that you are eligible for the discount - workplace or residence is Pulau Pinang.

after introduction of RFID, they no longer sell the special TnG card nor replace. The discount is now available for RFID users instead. Same eligibility requirements.

Those TnG cards that predates RFID are still eligible for discount until their expiry.

yea being able to top up is really convenient, but then i dont like different car park have different minimum value on your tng card in order to masuk, some minimum rm20 while some rm20 also cannot..but luckily can top up on the spot.

and if they can implement when you touch in your carpark atleast can show in history that you tapped in because face the issue when want to tap out the line got problem then they charge me maximum rate because they allegedly say i lost the parking card when infact i touch in using tng but i can't show proof since in history got no tap in record.

if you lost your card, ppl can just tap tap tap and freely use your cc.

but then again, same issue if you lose your cc. lol.

other will consider as fraud and eventually refund for u
