Anybody knows how to fix this? I just got my PSP flashed to the latest cfw 3.9 version, but I still can't surf the web properly. On web pages like Facebook and such, it mentioned that I should have Java installed. So how do it do that? Currently the page display is overlapping all over another.

Advise? Help needed. Thanks!

Hi, i am looking forward to buy a PSP in the near future...

But i would like to read more of Pros and Cons for PSP. Is there a thread around detailing this?
*
Anything else beside PSP is gay. Why? Cause PSP can:

1. Play games
2. Watch videos
3. Listen to music
4. Surf the net
5. Is a GPS machine (separate gadget required)
6. Skype
7. Listen to Internet radio (streaming) via Winamp ShoutCast
8. Can be modified to do all shits.
9. With new firmwares and softwares coming, the sky's the limit.

iPod can only do 2 & 3. smile.gif

Cons? Kinda long for a gadget but it is not a choice. Its a gaming machine! Now all hail the PSP notworthy.gif

Watch videos? How do somebody achieve this? For example, if i have around 4gb of avi movie, can i just put them in the PSP and watch it? blink.gif

Surf the net? How do i surf the net without a keyboard? hmm.gif

Sorry my correction; its watch videos and movie and anything. Yes it is a full multimedia machine. As mentioned, you need to convert the .avi files into for example mp4. There are tons of free programs on the net to do so. And yeah, pretty much one full length movie is about 700 MB so you can virtually pump in about 5 movies into a 4GB MSPD.

Yes, you can surf the net as well, but don;t expect the full experience like you get on a computer. The keyboard is a little difficult to handle, so don't expect to type a full email message, but its handy to check on things like your email messages, or forum reply updates and such on the go or at hotspots in shopping malls. Plenty of malls offer WiFi these days. However, there will be some sites that will be difficult to navigate, but nevertheless at least it still offers you a chance to go on the net without your most ultraportable notebook. Imagine a game-playing-net-surfing-music-listening-movie-watching-skype-calling device in your pocket.

Where to find? iPod kalah teruk maximum.

Added on May 1, 2008, 10:00 pmI need help. I just bought an original Hori Screen Protector and when i stuck it on the screen, I notice a small streak from top to bottom of my left side of the screen just wouldn't stick and bubbles (in a line from top to bottom) appears.

Thinking that the protector was defected, i unpeeled it and turn it around and restick it, only to find the same result. This means that my screen, on the left side is probably no even or so.

Has anybody exprienced this and managed to rectify it? Please advise.

Did someone know if i can use M2 card with MSPD adapter on PSP? If can, i think i will buy M2 only because the MSPD price is slightly expensive than M2 card. Im talking about 8gb card here. Thanks.

I am using a Sandisk M2 with MSPD adapter in my PSP and it works fine. However mine is 4GB, but i think it shouldn't be a problem. Better to get M2, since later once your M2 is no longer big enough in size for your usage, you can still use it for memory in your Sony Ericsson phones smile.gif

when i browsed thru play-asia.com last night, i noticed many kind of psp protector, the hard case la, silicon one la and even silicon inside, diionized metal outside.. think of getting one of those.. which type is better?

Brother, this one rules over all of the cases out there, but unfortunately, play-asia doesn't sell them.

http://nuritech.us/sony-psp-slim-amp-lite-...-skin-case.html

You want something extremely slim (just to proctect from scracthes, grime and fingerprints) because the thick casing gets in your way and affects your playing experience. Just ask around, many people will tell you they rather play without the thick casing.

Rumizu,

This case is also being sold by local retailers. Honestly I don't like it. Puts on a cheap looking metal which covers most of the good looking PSP by itself. I don't recommend so, but if you still insist, you'd be better off trying it with the local retailers before making a purchase to see if it feels good on your PSP and most important off all, playing your PSP with it on.

The Joytron case is undisputedly the best for PSP, win hands down. Sadly no one carries here.
