It's safe as long as you follow the instruction..Tried it yesterday..
however that theme still have some bugs..it is one of the best PSP themes out there..
If your PSP got bricked..You can always Unbrick it..

BTW..add me to the list..

That theme have probs with disappearing icons..PSP Spot and Help icons in the network tab and an icon in the system tab..
