bought a new PSP slim. kinda dissapointed because a reputable store with a sales very lack of knowledge. A fake 4GB MSPD included in the package and result 2-3GB of corrupted data at the same night of purchase. so, free loaded games cant be loaded.

the sales boy very firm and insist ,"We take our stock(MSPD) from Sony Malaysia." Yea right, it is so obvious it is a fake card. yawn.

Moving analog stick problem? Can you describe more?

I have this problem as well, in certain games. Well, have it this way, when i am in the start menu to select those mode to play, it will automatically move. Going down and up automatically. However, when i push the analog stick a lil bit, it stops. Is that your problem? If it is, how did you solve it?
smile.gif
Er..No idea. Just that it comes that way and i dont wanna touch anything i guess tongue.gif

the factors of causing this problem can be a lot... try the following methods..

1. Completely Shut down the PSP, not standby.. once u on it.. during the PSP boot time.. move ur analog stick to all direction...

if this do not solve ur problem.. try next..

2. tighten the screw of at the back of ur PSP esp the 2 screws at ur analog stick side...

(reason is the anolog stick module are using some sort of gel type of contact to the mainboard of your PSP, when it loose, it may cause the problem too)..

If this still not solve ur problem.. Then

3. Open up ur faceplate.. tighten the 2 screws of ur analogue stick.....

if this is still not work.. then...

4. u have to unscrew n take out your analogue stick module.. THIS IS THE STEP I DO...
unscrew it and then open up the module n use tissue paper to clean up the oil on the PCB board to the 2 plastic direction plate.... put the PCB board back... Install back everything and u are done...

*** DO NOT OPEN THE TWO BLACK PLASTIC WHICH HOLDING THE ANALOGUE STICK.. INSIDE HAVE SPRING.. IT IS NOT SO EASY TO PUT BACK THE SPRING ONCE U OPEN IT **...

my case.. I open up everything in the analogue module n put is back.. the spring took me some time to put back.. sweat.gif sweat.gif

Added on March 12, 2008, 5:05 pmhere is a little video to show u how to open up the analogue stick..
