My MIL is in ICU currently at Hospital Sg Buloh. She have been there for 1 week+ now. Doctor was saying they have a system in ICU where patient can't stay inside for too long. Therefore when the time comes, they need transfer her to a normal ward without the breathing apparatus which might be dangerous for her since she is not showing signs of recovery according to doctor.

May I ask if anyone knows any other hospital is good in treating leptospirosis and willing to accept this type of patient? We have ask around and it seems that alot hospital do not want to take in or how to get a second opinion on her condition?

Thanks

If they remove her from ICU means condition getting better. They will transfer her with breathing apparatus and the ICU doctor will go to ward and see her. Don't worry.

Yes, was worried that they will kick her out of ICU so just looking for alternatives before that happens. But she is still in ICU now. Yes, hopefully she can be removed from ICU when her condition is better. Thanks for the reply!
