hi bro n sis,
QUOTE
Guys, when i wan to type sms with the key pad.. how to off the T9 dictionary? I ve already untick everything everything in T9 option but stil the T9 feature remain active. 10q

the main reason why i choose p750 is because of its keypad. i like one handed operation for sms and try to avoid stylus (nokia freak). but..

T9 predictive input is good if you're composing sms in supported language, but to sms in bahasa melayu? argh..susah.

i just wondering whether the keypad can be operated as normal nokia keypad without predictive input function. what i mean is, let say i want to spell "LOWYAT" then i just key in 555(L)-666(O)-9(W)-9(Y)-2(A)-8(T)

anyone have any tricks?

do you want to use your own sms tone?

-if yes, paste your sms tone (in supported audio format) in /WINDOWS in your phone memory

Added on September 2, 2008, 9:57 pm-for incoming call tone, you can put it in your memory card

i have a problem. suddenly my keypad not functioning.

i only can press call/reject/ok button only. the windows button, - (left and right) button not working, and the worse is all numbers/alphabetic key not working..

so i only rely on my virtual keyboard only. as i was remember, this happened when i swap to my secondary battery. hope miracles happen...

Added on January 17, 2009, 12:57 pm*as expected miracles happened. i tried to take out current battery and swap with spare battery, turn on, walla! a bit weird but solves the problem

CODE

I know exactly what u want. I'm Maxis user too and upgraded to 6.1 recently. To solve this problem just do:

* Settings, Connections, Advanced, Select Networks
** On "Maxis INTERNET Settings" press EDIT <--------- drop down menu
* Edit, Next, change "net" to "unet"
* Next, finish, ok

** On " Maxis MMS Settings" press edit <--------- drop down menu
* Edit, Next, change "net" to "unet"
* Next, finish, ok

**** Make sure you select Maxis INTERNET settings after u edit the MMS settings
