I found out after exit from GArmin XT program, the device will slow down due to QUE.EXE is still running at the background. You can see it running using Memaid under RUNNING PROCESS. Now I usually quit GARMIN XT using memaid to terminate the program rather than using the "exit" button. Now no more need to reset. Imagine that if you are using a 1 or 2GB card, how much space can it used up, right? So just leave it there lor...
