Does anyone know where to get Motul 7100 nearby Bangsar or Sentral?
I know the bike shops are selling them but I got this weird felling they are trying to push a fast one.

I know it's a bit late but you can definitely get it in the Sentul area or even online. Just look for a legitimate seller.

Beware of this popular brand of oil, many fakes out there..

Get from the reputable workshop safer, at least they give you a fake one .. can sue back..

why not using shell? can get from petrol kiosk and guarantee original.

similar spec.. and around 50++ rm per litre for a fully synth ..

thing is that it is impossible to tell if you go in blind and purchase it.
I take my chances on recommendations. At least that will cut down the risk a bit.

I tried,

Normal Shell (mineral) with a variety of viscosity - all the semut lari after 500km
Rimula R4x - semut lari dekat 1k km
Rimula R5 - semut... 1.5 k km++
Rimula R6 semut all the way to 2k km
Motul 5100 - semut (just change), not sure ori
Shell Advance Long ride - i go cuba next oc.
Motul 7100 - next change after Long ride.. cuba nasib ori

Used the semi syn on my old z250 n it was smooth.

My current z900 is on its 3rd shell fully syn (red bottle).

Already decided to stick to shell. Only downside is buying from station have to diy oil change. Not many workshops i know wanna do for u if u bring ur own

Don't know of any legitimate authentic dealers for Motul, but as the others mentioned, getting it from a reputable motorcycle workshop should be safe, or safer. Many other brands on the market nowadays to pick and choose from.

Currently running with Maxima ProPlus+ 10w50 fully synthetic engine oil and Maxima Profilter PF-303B on my ZX-6R, so far so good. Can get it directly from official Maxima Malaysia.

cool i add to my list along with BMW MOTORRAD 15W50 as well to test.
So far Motul is holding up well, after 500km.

update on Motul 5100 - 1k+ still semut. Engine oil clear and clean (from dipstick). Betcha crap at the bottom of the pan.

For some reason 5100 can last longer than 7100. 7100 2200km++ start to rough while 5100 can last till around 2500km
