Just curious, what restaurant was the appreciation dinner held? If it’s a known non-halal restaurant, why did the guy turn up? The invitation is probably a mistake from HP but I think the appreciation dinner is partly for CNY celebration too which is why they hold it in non-halal restaurants.

Why did he rsvp when noble house is clearly a non-halal restaurants. Its probably why the other Malay vendor all rejected the invitation.

I think the other Malay vendors rejected the invitation. So, the organiser definitely will not prepare another table specifically for him only. He use the example of Bali but that is different because there were other Malays.

I am not saying HP did not made a mistake but I think he is purposely making it an issue because he was served vegetarian food. Look at how he constantly brag about his sales volume and felt entitled that he should be better served.

If he can tolerate, then what is the issue here? It’s not like he did not get any food.

I think he felt insulted being served vegetarian because he claimed he contributed millions of sales to HP.

This kind of food mistake happened all the time. That's why many won't invite Malay colleague to cina wedding dinner. If they insist want to join, normally will buy KFC for them on that table and use disposable plates.
