I lives in Singapore. The government has banned IPTV here and cannot even get an android box with channels & streaming.I used to have an IPTV app with subs, which is also closed down.
I am looking to get a box with subscription to channels & video streaming from KL. Wonder any bro have any experience of one that is stable and can work in Singapore, with subscription.

Singapore didnot banned IPTV (Internet Protocol television)
IPTV per say is legal.
What is illegal is monetize copyright contents without a licence.
Such as the selling of tv box that carried app that provide unlicenced copyright materials, or providing services
with payment for accessing unlicenced copyright materials

So, if you are looking for legal materials or subscription in Singapore perhap starhub or singtel are the few providers
that streaming legal iptv contents.

Having said that, if you will to looking for iptv without the need to pay much then perhap you could try to built your own
iptv tv with a number free iptv streaming app such as ott player, ott navigator, iptv extreme and many others to name a few

IPTV come with many format, the most common of which is m3u, stb emu , xtreme code and many other

However, if you are subscribing to some services which provide iptv contents legal or otherwise the law is grey as to the user perspective as long as
you do not download the unlicenced materials

goodluck bros. the key words here is monetize and procession of the unlicenced materials ( not to download)

There are no legal option then except those that you have mentioned.
