my wall is having stain of water leakage i could only suspect it is from the basin of my bathroom next to it. But the leakage stain may not look like it is from the basin? And the leak is not always there when only bathing the leak will be there meaning that the source of leak is coming from bathroom or sink waste water and not from water tank. Leakage connected to water tank will surely result in constant leak. Here is my bathroom and my room wall next to it Can any sifu tell me where is the leak? Or I need to hack only can know? QUOTE(gedebe @ Jan 31 2023, 03:53 PM) But it is only during bathing wor, else no leak I see, then it could be due to the water pipe hidden in the wall. The water source for your basin and the wall faucet could be sharing and it came from the floor. I think the leakage is due to that T pipe inside your wall.

better get pro help rather than opinion from here based on few picture. in some case, even the pro had hard time to pin point the exact location, best is to redo the whole piping. and if u stay in apartment, then GG.

From the photos, directly behind that wall is not basin, right?

Also a part from the wall, the floor next to the wall is also wet with water, there might be another leak from the floor This post has been edited by gedebe: Feb 1 2023, 03:57 PM

can you look behind the shelf ? see if there's any water damage on that part of the wall.
and when you say the leak only happens when using the tap and sink, did you try just using 1 to be sure ?
a possible scenario is that your tap pipe has a leak, if it's GI pipe with built up rust inside water needs abit of pressure to come out (rest of the time just "moist" on the surface). so when you on your tap and the water pump kicks in you get a wet wall.

I've removed the shelf and it is quite obvious that the leak is coming from the water tap on the wall not the basin, refer back to bathroom pic, you explanation is quite near to what i encounter, just that my pipe is class 5 pvc and i do not have a pump. you could try to remove the tap and see if you can fix it from toilet side ? if that dosen't work and you still don't want to hack then run a surface water pipe to where your existing tap is. Ugly but no hacking
