i m going to stay in kota damansara soon, been amuse by the maxis BB package the one can go up to 3.6mps...

but still worried that it is worst than streamyx....

there is a few reason i option for maxis,

1.i dun need a fix line phone (apply for streamyx need to apply for a land line)

2.streamyx is full for the ports or something in that area....

3. wish to try something different


any1 from that area?

hi guys~ i m on the Maxis USB WBB package for about 1 month edi, at first i used at jinjang kepong & kampung sg kay ara near BU area which run quite good, at least more or less can get 800k+-,

but since i move into my new apartment in kota damansara sek11, i m getting crap speed n couldnt even connect to HSPDA, only UTMS~ i try every view every angle, n most of my window is facing directly to ikea n the curve site... T.T :'(

anyone from this area using Maxis WBB? problem ?

hmm... all the big bros over here, wanna ask something, i tried the tool put up by JWCheah, i found out that my signal is -55dbm, but y i still so hard to connect to hsdpa?

or it's totally nothing to do with the dbm thing?

my area is DEFINATELY covered, i m in kota damansara. T.T

they r really lame, nothing in the maxis website. even lowyat.net thread is more update then their official website..
