Currently using Maxis BB. To be fair, I'd say that it has its ups & downs like any other ISP in Malaysia providing "broadband" services for jokes. With Maxis however, expect more downs and frustrations to the point that throwing the god damn ZTE modem out the window seems like a great idea.
It seems like recently they have just started throttling the connection again, but this time it just hit a new bottom; I'm lucky to even get 20 kbps and with this kind of connection I'm better off on a freakin dial-up. I've been very... ohh very patience with Maxis. When they decided to pull out their "fair" policy, I gave up p2p altogether and turned to direct download services such as rapidshare, megaupload & etc (paid services). I've tried so hard to be fair to them, I admit at times I do get decent speed (350 kbps at max) but that only happens once in a blue moon, and I'm pretty sure I didn't subscribe to them in the first place so that I might hit jackpot once in awhile (it's funny because it shouldn't be like this).
I've had it with Maxis. I'm currently looking for a new connection and am open to suggestions. I went to try iZZi yesterday (@ lowyatt), wasn't too impressed with the speed (200 kbps give & take) and the 12 months upfront is outrageous. I would have given it a try if I wasn't afraid that I might not get the full refund back soon (I've heard of complaints about refund getting delayed).
So how bout this new TMNET 4 mbps? is it really any good? Is it worth giving TMNET another chance? I was a streamyx user awhile back, I turned to Maxis in hope for a better internet with faster speed but I'm getting lied to plain stupid. What kind of average download speed you get from the 4 bmps? (in terms of kbps, you know what I mean).
