QUOTE(JWCheah @ Dec 9 2007, 05:13 PM) How long have you had it for? More than 1 month then no luck for you... go start a thread asking for interested party to take it up, the transfer will cost RM50. If not, Maxis expect you to pay the remaining months of the contract which makes no sense why one would give back the modem and the service and pay full of all the remaining months for what..... i just registered rm138 package for 2 days only and i faced a lot of disconnection while im surfing, maybe i would try to subsribe celcom broadbandProbably for you to put on top of the modem since you probably need to hang out the entire unit outdoor to get a decent signal.... |

QUOTE(unnamed @ Dec 10 2007, 09:35 PM) at pc fair, for the 3.6 Mbps package with free usb modem ...is it priced at RM99 or RM138? ..because i was told by the promoter that RM99 package + 18 months contract will get me the free usb modem (while 600Kbps will get the zte modem)...that's why i was beginning to think that it is more worth it than my celcom RM68 package rm138 if you are not maxis postpaid, however if you are one the charges should be rm118 only |

i just went to the celcom branch just now to ask about their usb modem package, we need to pay rm900+ for the usb modem and rm98 monthly. The modem need to pay one time. So i think i will stick to maxis broadband since i dont have money to pay the usb modem in lump sum.

QUOTE(cantdecide @ Dec 17 2007, 08:52 AM) Some observation of mine after reading through this thread and the Celcom 3G thread. Apparently, more ppl are happy with Celcom 3G than Maxis BB! Does that mean Celcom 3G is doing a better job here? If it is, Celcom deserve some credit even I doubted their capabilities for so long celcom too expensive. need to buy their modem which cost a lot & need to pay upon registration. As for Maxis BB, recently they might have done some upgrade in my area and I noticed that I have no Cell ID and the performance is far more better than last time. I can get HSDPA most of the time and on a good RSSI value (-60 to -70) as compare to last time -70 to -80. Perhaps Maxis is really doing their best to help us here. Give them some time while testing out your new HSDPA package. Don't just start complaining after using the package for a mere few hours and a day. |
