Yes, same for me also. Yesterday and tonight was good compared to the previous days, lots of improvements but still not really that impressive yet. I hope it gets better than this the next time.

Gosh!!!  Today is possibly the best connection speed I have had since I gotten my MaxisBB.  The strange thing is that today is a rainy night where I normally thought my MaxisBB will be terribly ridiculous.  I hope it is due to some fine-tuning Maxis has done and I can maintain at this good connection speed. smile.gif

prasys: Can you update the 1st post with more information like these? I realized that the FAQ in the 1st post still has not covered some things like how to waive the itemized billing and stuff like that... Thanks!

Well if you notice there is somekind of notice that says 'Dont use in an event of thunderstorm'. Technically you should be *safe* if you have a surge protector (the cheapo ZTE does not come with it)

Connection and speed: Good most of the time (sometimes bad), but can't reach over 1000kb/s (dl speed), at least for me...
Gaming: Not good for gaming, bcoz of high ping and unstable connection
3GB Limit: I haven't tried exceeding it yet, but a few users here have reported that they have exceeded and yet no extra charges imposed i think...

BTW i live in a double storey house in ss15...

Anyone from ss15 Sbg Jaya?
Is it the connection and speed is good?
I live at E-Tiara.18th floor.
Considering to subscribe it if it is good...
About the 3gb data...Is it enough for a online gamer?
What happened if we excced the 3gb limit?

Noob here...
Thanks in advance for your help... smile.gif

Yeah. The performance here in Subang Jaya sucks tongue.gif

Location, location, location. It is very much depends on the base station technology (version), number of users and then your signal strength. I've asked a communication engineer for Ericsson who does the maintenance for Maxis and he inform that there will be huge differences if the base tower is newly equip for 3G/HSDPA enable or just with an upgrade. How many users they can take, i'm not sure but as compared to the upgraded ones, the newly setup towers will perform much much better will good average speed per users. So conclusion, if your area is a new area, like Damansara Perdana or so.... it should be on a WOW speed as compared to maybe SubangJaya or Cheras. There isn't enough pressure from the authorities to push for a BETTER SERVICE at the moment due to limited number of ISPs (with 3G permit). I don't think Cyberjaya and the MSC is doing enough.  sad.gif Malaysia Boleh (malas)!
