i'm using hrv stock tyres , 215/55/r17 stock bluearth 370 , planning to replace these.
but 17 inch tyres is kinda new knowledge to me, other old cars are 15 inch.
i find the bluearth e70 grip to be quite good , but doesn't seem to be sold in shops.
any recommendation or look for this same bluearth again?
preferring acceptable noise control , and above average dry/wet grip, at something midrange price.
thank you.

The BluEarth E70 is a very basic entry level tyre at best. Since your priority is towards comfort with decent grip, your options are: 1. Goodyear Excellence 2. Toyo CR1 3. Yokohama ES32 4. Goodyear EfficientGrip 5. Bridgestone T005A 6. Continental UC7

Ts, you feel the e70s are quiet? I find them to be so very noisy one of the noisiest tyres I've ever used imo

Getting Started

|
Just drove my 2022 hrv with 60k km goodyear triple max assurance on NSE ayer keroh area yesterday. Loud as hell and can barely hear any music.
Should i replace my tyres already? Thread is still 60% left tho.
Looking at UC7 for quieter road noise.

Myself i have changed my tyres with decent thread left because it was getting noisier and felt it lost its comfortable ride. My personal experience, the tyres tend to become harder and noisier over time, probably due to exposure to weather and use

Besides from tire hardening, low air pressure can also cause higher road noise due to more surface contact.

i recently just changed my tyre, same size 215/55/r17, I find this size to be relatively odd and not many shop has this size.
I've changed to Hankook Ventus Prime 4 (K135) and very satisfied with it. RM330/donut
if possible, I would like to know what kind of model and price are you guys getting, thanks.
