QUOTE(akRia @ Oct 11 2007, 07:11 PM) Any team is op[en for discussion, just that lately most of the rumours are about Chelsea players. Other rumours include Kaka (now Chelsea wants him also) and Calderon with his big mouth wanting Villa. |

I would think Drogba would be first to leave seeing that Jose's gone. Could be wrong though

topic should be "Winter Player Transfer Talks". No need "Who's most likely to leave Chelsea?". Btw, i think Sidwell may leave Chelsea on winter and a few will leave on summer. This post has been edited by emmeir: Oct 11 2007, 08:29 PM |

AC Milan, Real Madrid in contact for Chelsea's Lampard
Juventus, AC Milan and Real Madrid have all been made aware of the availability of Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard, it has been revealed. AS says sources close to Lampard and also Chelsea have confirmed he is now up for sale and can leave Stamford Bridge in January for 12 million. However, with just over 18 months on his existing contract, Lampard can invoke FIFA's article 17 law which would allow him to move for 8 million in January and around 6 million at the end of this season. Lampard's agent, Steve Kutner, is reported to have been contacted by Juventus, Milan and also a representative of Real Madrid. http://www.tribalfootball.com/article.php?id=60314 Barcelona chiefs discuss plan to trump Real Madrid for Arsenal's Cesc Barcelona sports chief Txiki Begiristain is hatching a plan to trump Real Madrid for Arsenal midfield ace Cesc Fabregas. Major Spanish sports newspapers Marca and DiarioSport say today that Begiristain wants to bring Cesc back to the Nou Camp to hand a "psychological and morale" blow to Real Madrid, where president Ramon Calderon has failed in consecutive summers to lure the Arsenal star to the Santiago Bernabeu. In order to make the deal happen, Begiristain is prepared to cash in on midfielder Xavi, with Cesc arriving as his direct replacement. Any serious move by Barca will spark an incredible bidding war with Real, as Calderon will not sit back and allow one of his pre-election promises to join Madrid's bitter rivals. http://www.tribalfootball.com/article.php?id=60315 |

I think Lampard will leave Chelsea because he's going at a cut price deal, the rest are too expensive if they are cup tied in the CL. Ballack will go too. Sheva's next move is anyone's guess. Drogba will only move next season.

Ballack just mentioned that he wish to see out the remainder of his contract, which ends after two years. As for Lampard, I don't think he will leave if he plays well before transfer window open again. Currently Chelsea are targeting dutch and hope to bring some dutch back-room staff and dutch players.

imho, sidwell is brought in to ski squad by mourinho after considering that some of the players will be leaving for african cup soon, that's why sidwell is in to cover them during that period of time...other den that, he'll be a bench player. as for the likes of drog & lampa, tho i dun like to talk about them, but it all down to A.Grant to make the decision. lamps might stay depends on wat happen in the ski's camp in the near future, or if any clubs come knocking on his doorstep. drog? i dunno, he might leave.....same goes to our 'beloved' saha. he injured himself during warm up against wigan before the match?? i bet it's a bunch of bollox.. he'll leave in jan08 if things dun go well between him & saf. just like rvn wif saf last time around. sheva might stil stay, cos he's roman's 'brader' mah....samo sheva's wife can go shopping wif roman's ex-wife leh..
lamp to barca?? how many excellent midfielder does barca wants?? they've got ronaldinho, messi, xavi there edi... i dunno how rijkaard gonna accomodate all of these stars in one match ler. but if it's for real, well.... just my wortless 2 cents. |

If got good deal then opt for winger. Babel can replace Crouch as striker and the bonus is he can be a winger as well. So no need to buy striker. Furthermore I'd like to see 2 wingers flanking Torres in attacking. |

Real Madrid move for Racing Santander defender Garay
Racing Santander defender Ezequiel Garay is a target for Real Madrid. Real see the young Argentine as a potential successor for Italian veteran Fabio Cannavaro and sports chief Miguel Angel Portugal is already pressing for talks with Racing for the defender. Aware of growing interest across Europe in Garay, Portugal is keen to settle on a fee with Racing before a full-blown auction opens. http://www.tribalfootball.com/article.php?id=60978 |

We are been link with almost every player in the media at UK. Most of the player is only rumour to be linked with us. No solid prove that we are after them. Moreover if we after a player we don't publise in the media as it would most likely increase the transfer fee on the players. Whoever we get it doesn't matter as long those player deliver.

Drogba to demand move
QUOTE Didier Drogba is set to demand a move from Chelsea, according to reports in France. The Ivory Coast star has become unsettled in West London following the departure of manager Jose Mourinho. Last season's top-scorer in England has found Mourinho's departure hard to take, and now with Milan and Real Madrid circling, Drogba has admitted he cannot take life with Chelsea anymore. Exit "I want to leave Chelsea," he has told France Football - which will publish the full interview on Friday. "Nothing can stop me from leaving now. Something is broken with Chelsea. "The damage in the dressing room is big because we know now what happened and who caused Mourinho's departure." Drogba insisted that no matter who Chelsea might sign next summer - he did not want to play for The Blues beyond this season. "I know that Ronaldinho and Kaka are linked to come next season but even that won't change my mind," he continued. Rumours of Drogba's unrest have been circulating ever since Mourinho's departure and his latest outburst would only seem to confirm that he does not have a long-term future at the club. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_2808244,00.html |

Main priority will be another striker (targetman) to play in front of Rooney/Tevez. As for RB, not too urgent for now since Danny Simpson can deputize if needed plus the likes of Brown/O'Shea/Pique can play there too. |

Arsenal go for 40M Lyon duo Benzema, Arfa
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is planning a 40 million raid on Olympique Lyon for Karim Benzema and Hatem Ben Arfa. The Sun says Wenger had both aces watched in Lyon's 3-1 win over Monaco at the weekend - Benzema found the net and Ben Arfa impressed. Striker Benzema, 19, has taken the French league by storm with 11 goals in as many games. He is already a starter for France, with his displays also alerting Real Madrid, Barcelona, AC and Inter Milan. Left-winger Ben Arfa, 20, has also broken into the France senior team. But it will be a huge task to convince Lyon to sell. The French champs are notorious for hiking up prices and they know Wenger has a 70m war chest. http://www.tribalfootball.com/article.php?id=61830 Bolton fear losing unsettled Anelka Bolton Wanderers striker Nicolas Anelka could leave in January's winter market. Sven promised extra funds
QUOTE Manchester City owner Thaksin Shinawatra has confirmed he will provide manager Sven Goran Eriksson with more funds during the January transfer window. City spent 40million over the summer as Eriksson looked to overhaul the squad and despite a brilliant start to the season, the Swede is expected to want further reinforcements come the New Year. And the former Thai Prime Minister is insistent that funds will be available to Eriksson, despite having over 1billion of his assets frozen in his native Thailand. New faces "There will not be many new faces like there were in the summer but possibly, there will be a few," he told the Manchester Evening News. "There is no doubt that I trust Sven to spend my money well and it is our duty to find it. His track record has been brilliant so far." Shinawatra is also happy to bask in the popularity of his appointment of Eriksson. Perfect "There were those who questioned us when we appointed Sven as manager but they are not doing so now. So far, he has proved to be a perfect choice," he added. "We set out with a three-year plan and though people will say we are ahead of that plan we have only played 10 games so far. "But we have started very well and we seem to be winning the disillusioned fans back." http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_2823456,00.html |

Juventus in Chelsea, Arsenal talks over player-exchanges
Juventus are locked in player-exchange talks with Arsenal, Chelsea and Scottish giants Rangers. The Daily Record says Juve sporting director Alessio Secco met Rangers chief scout Ewan Chester in London yesterday. Secco has also had talks with Arsenal and Chelsea to discuss fringe players being farmed out to gain top-team experience in either the SPL or the Premiership. Any movement would be subject to Walter Smith's side qualifying for the last 16 of the Champions League with a recognised left-back top of the Ibrox manager's shopping list. As part of the arrangement Juve would like first refusal on any players the British teams are willing to sell. Right now the Turin club are not involved in Europe following their demotion to Serie B two seasons ago. Coach Claudio Ranieri, left, wants his fringe players to gain experience of playing abroad ahead of Juventus's expected return to the Champions League next season. http://www.tribalfootball.com/article.php?id=62140 |

Soccer-Kaka leaves door open for future Real switch
MILAN, Oct 26 (Reuters) - AC Milan playmaker Kaka has refused to rule out a move to Real Madrid following fresh speculation on Friday. The European champions spent most of the close season repelling Real's advances for the 25-year-old Brazilian. Milan said in June they were aware Kaka's father had met Madrid officials but club president Silvio Berlusconi said they would not let their best player leave. Vague press speculation has said former Real president Florentino Perez is the only man that could persuade Milan to sell the FIFPro World Player of the Year even though the next presidential election at the Bernabeu is not until 2010. "I have a contract with Milan until 2011, I am not in a hurry to renew it and neither are Milan," Kaka told reporters. "Ramon Calderon must talk with Berlusconi. If they find an agreement OK, otherwise I stay here." Kaka, speaking at the unveiling of a new computer game, also gave fresh impetus to stories linking Milan with a bid for Barcelona forward Ronaldinho, who has not been at his best at the Nou Camp this season. "Everytime we meet up with the national team, Ronaldinho asks me about Milan, the team and the club. I dont know if he can come. Certainly he has feelings for us," he said. http://football.guardian.co.uk/breakingnew...7026539,00.html |

No modern footballer players is that loyal in the game nowadays. Kaka is keeping his option open once he achieved everything with Milan he might seek new pasture by moving to another big club and winning different trophies and reaching new heights for his football career. I can understand where is coming from to further his football achievement

Lampard Moving Closer To Juve QUOTE 27/10/2007 12:59 Frank Lampard's move from Chelsea to Juventus is looking increasingly likely, as the two clubs hold advanced talks about the transfer today. he England international has been heavily linked with the Serie B champions for some time, and Juventus director of sport, Alessio Secco, met with Chelsea officials earlier in the week. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Secco will again be in London today to hold advanced talks with Chelsea, in a bid to thrash out terms over a transfer. Blues owner Roman Abramovich has set his stall out to create a more exciting and universally appealing brand of football at Stamford Bridge, and one of the major casualties of this change will be Lampard, who is known more for his substance than for his style. The 29-year-old is said to be keen to experience a new challenge abroad and would relish the chance to hook up with old boss Claudio Ranieri, the man who was responsible for launching his career when he signed him from West Ham in 2001. Lampard is available for euro10m and is likely to accept a reduction in salary from euro6m to 5m a year in order to facilitate the move. The transfer is unlikely to take place until the summer, but sources in Italy believe that providing Juventus qualify for next year's Champions League then a move is a virtual guarantee. http://www.goal.com/en/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=460344 Added on October 29, 2007, 6:52 pmReds ponder Pandev move QUOTE Liverpool are reported to be tracking Lazio forward Goran Pandev. The 24-year-old is regarded as one of the best prospects in Europe after impressing for the Serie A side last season. Pandev raised his stock when he scored both goals for Lazio in their 2-2 draw with Real Madrid in this season's UEFA Champions League. His performances are thought to have caught the attention of Liverpool scouts and Reds boss Rafa Benitez is believed to be weighing up a move for the Macedonian. The Reds have struggled for goals so far this season, despite the arrival of Fernando Torres and with doubts continuing to surround the future of Peter Crouch, Benitez could be in the market for a new striker Lazio are keen to keep hold of Pandev as he is contracted to the club until 2010. However, they face a fight to resist overtures for their most saleable asset with Bayern Munich confirming their interest in the highly-rated attacker. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11854_2833396,00.html This post has been edited by alien2003: Oct 29 2007, 06:52 PM |

Liverpool to use Crouch to land Sunderland ace Jones
Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is tracking Sunderland centre-forward Kenwyne Jones. The People says Jones started the season with Southampton, scoring in their 2-1 opening-day defeat by Norwich before agreeing to join Roy Keane's side in a 6 million deal. And despite Sunderland languishing in the bottom half of the table, he has scored four goals in seven games since his switch. Benitez is ready to double the price Keane paid for hitman Jones and any deal could also include out-of-favour Kop striker Peter Crouch. http://www.tribalfootball.com/article.php?id=62501 |

QUOTE(Soulsareworthless @ Nov 1 2007, 10:54 PM) You're right up that phrase. Frankly speaking I only rely on the club official site about transfer dealing rather than believe in speculation. Moreover I haven't see any other site that is more reliable site about this transfer rumour. So I won't be reading too much in this speculation. I would wait it to be officially release in the paper first. |

FYI, Benayoun & Pennant cost less than 12 m.& the bold part, they are part of the team, so whats wrong with buying those 2, it's not like they cost a bomb or buying them just for the sake of buying |

Maybe we deserve better but we're priced out of those better players.just my 2 cents. |

Blues' Ron bid set to fail
QUOTE Ronaldinho's agent has ruled out the Brazil superstar leaving Barcelona in the January transfer window. Chelsea are long-term admirers of the 2004 and 2005 Fifa World Player of the Year and had hoped to tempt the former PSG ace to try his hand in the Premier League. Blues boss Roman Abramovich was reportedly prepared to offer 50million to land the 27-year-old, however, their efforts look to end in failure. Chelsea had reportedly hoped a deal may be done during the January transfer window, but Ronaldinho's agent Roberto de Assis has ruled out his brother departing Barca in the New Year. Happy Not only is Ronaldinho happy to see out the remainder of his contract at Camp Nou, which has another two-and-a-half years to run, but he is also interested in penning an extension. "It is completely out of the question that Ronaldinho will go in the middle of the season," Assis told the News of the World. "There is no reason to think Ronaldinho's future is away from Barcelona. "My brother has a contract with Barcelona until 2010 and he is interested in seeing it out and, if possible, extending it." http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_2849025,00.html |

Liverpool, Man Utd forced to bid early for Menez
Manchester United and Liverpool may be forced into bidding early for AS Monaco midfielder Jeremy Menez. Both Premiership giants are monitoring the 20 year-old this season with a view to moving for the playmaker in the summer. However, Gazzetta dello Sport says Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti is ready to release significant transfer funds in January and a deal for Menez is high on the agenda. United and Liverpool have made contact with Monaco in the last month about Menez's situation, however Inter believe they have the inside-running having struck a good relationship with the French club during negotiations for wing-back Maicon last year. http://www.tribalfootball.com/article.php?id=63808 |

Kia: Liverpool have Mascherano option
Liverpool have been assured they have first refusal on midfielder Javier Mascherano. Kia Joorabchian, the head of the company that owns Mascherano's "economic rights", says Liverpool secured first refusal on the Argentina midfield player when they signed him on an 18-month loan. "Liverpool do have first option," he said. http://www.tribalfootball.com/article.php?id=63895 |

Chelsea battling Real Madrid for Lulinha
Although Real Madrid are confident of seeing off interest from Chelsea to win the race for Corinthians starlet Lulinha, Chelsea officials have recently begun premilarry discussions with the Corinthians board. The Independent says agent, Wagner Ribeiro, flew to London to hold talks with Frank Arnesen, Chelsea's chief scout and head of youth development, who has been pushing for a deal to be completed as quickly as possible to sign the 17-year-old. Lulinha, who plays as an attacking midfielder or a "second" striker, has been told he can leave his club, Corinthians, if the asking price is met. Chelsea sent scouts to watch him play against Flamengo last Wednesday and, again, in the 2-2 draw with Atletico Paranaense last weekend. Ribeiro, whose clients include Robinho, is acutely aware of Chelsea's enthusiasm and has combined a trip to hold talks with other European clubs with a visit to Stamford Bridge yesterday. He has also been in Spain to meet Real Madrid. According to Lulinha's parents, he is said to favour a move to the Spanish capital as he is a close friend of Madrid's left back, Marcelo. http://www.tribalfootball.com/article.php?id=64124 This post has been edited by Soulsareworthless: Nov 8 2007, 06:04 PM |

No point. Kaka still the best. Ramos is just a defender that can be replace by several options. I know he is young and talented, but I don't think Milan need to work on their defense. EVEN if they want, there's more than Ramos they can take. Who the h*ll are they? They are fricking AC Milan!! Which player doesn't want to play for top clubs in the world?!

Heinze.. shit since he came back from that long injury. RVN, lost his place to Saha.. and lost something with the injury he had a season before that. Beckham, got the boot, got rotated for the right wing with Ole who did extremely well. All those 3 had some problems with SAF, maybe Heinze less so. They are/were still doing the business for Real, but they weren't as good as before. You got a bargain though in Ruud. Still banging in them for fun. |

In their prime=At the top of their ability. Which wasn't the case for Ruud and Heinze. Maybe Beckham still had a lot in him, but he had to share the right wing spot with Ole who was a striker in his last season with us. We won the league that season. And Ruud lost his place to Saha at that start of last year. Nobody ever doubts his scoring ability, it'll always be there just like Ronaldo9, Ole and Larsson are still scoring goals wherever they are even when they're old and cripple. Ole last season scored almost every time he played for us, and thats when he was struggling with the pace of the game and his knee injury. Not saying Ruud is bad or anything, he's still good, but not as good as he was in his first 3 seasons with ManUtd. That much is clear. I won't mind if he's still with us, but he won't start ahead of the 3 we have right now when they're fit.
Evra>Heinze. Hence why he wanted to leave. Never recapture the form in his first season. Good riddance. |

Sayin Ruud has not been as good as he was in Man Utd just shows your ignorance when it comes to Real Madrid. I actually think his performances with us have been a step up..mainly because we give him more freedom to move around the pitch...For example he hardly scored any long range shots for u guys whereas he has already scored quite a few for us.

I wouldn't look too much into that. Kanoute, Rossi, Forlan are scoring for fun over there. Compare that when they were in the EPL. A bit different.
Back to Ruud, he was a lot better in his first 3 seasons with us compared to his last two. After that he ran into trouble with some injury problem. When he came back wasn't the same anymore, lost that bit of pace he had and his body language is different. Not as monstrous as he was before that. A shadow of his former self, but he was still scoring goals. Like I said, his goalscoring ability was never in doubt, he was scoring close to 20 in half a season for us in his last season with a non existent midfield. But clearly he lack that bit of something compared to his first 3 seasons. |

You'll understand that football players aren't machines, they even great footballers have good seasons every once in a while. Do Ronaldo9 and Eto'o score 30 goals every season? Does that mean Eto'o isn't in his prime?Back to Ruud, he was a lot better in his first 3 seasons with us compared to his last two. After that he ran into trouble with some injury problem. Spanish STs score more because Spanish teams play better football, it's as simple as that, you just have to look at the CL and UEFA CUp past winners. |

Season 03/04 till 05/06, we played 433. He was a monster still in 03/04, wonder what's changed in 05/06 and the season before that.. can't be that we play shit football, since we played the same way. What you say is partly true, but ever thought, maybe, just maybe most defenders are shit over there and theres a lot more space over there? Not saying its true, but its worth having a think about. Morientes, Kluivert just to name a few. Different league, different style, some players excel in one league, but crap in the other. But Ruud excelled in both.
Ronaldo9 ain't the same anymore, not since 98, but he's still very good although injury prone, but he's not as good as he was pre98, which is what I've been saying all this while about Ruud. Eto'o, one of the best strikers in the world when on form, currently injured. If he came back and doesn't perform as good as he was before he got injured, then he's not better than he was before that. Simple really. Nobody said Ruud struggle to score 30 goals since then, or he's shit if he didn't make that figure in a season. When fit, he's guaranteed to score close to that amount, if not more. If he was happy with being 2nd choice to Saha back then, he would still be with us. All I said was that he's a shadow of himself if you compare him now(last 3 seasons) to when he was a monster in his first 3 seasons there with us. He got an injury problem or two in his 3rd/4th season, and since then never really reach those heights although he was still banging them in. All you ever talk about is his goalscoring ability, which is fine enough I agree is that not many are better at what he does(even now), but I talk about his overall ability. He got more back then IMO. Ole last season, can't outpace anyone, struggle with injuries and the pace of the game, but still scores almost everytime he's on the pitch. If given chance of keeping him, I'd keep him rather than sold to you guys. But he couldn't handle being on the bench. It all work out OK so far, except that Saha is crocked again. We've got Tevez though and now Rooney is turning into a goalscoring monster himself. And who can forget Dong. Monster on the be..d.. err. |

i don't think Kuyt is on the way out.. if any striker gonna go from kop, it's Crouch.
btw, i still don't think AW will buy any strikers, like much publicise reports.. Defenders maybe or a goalie.. coz i do think Lehmann is going out already. |

I would love for liverpool if we can nab Villa to play along side with Torres. Moreover that guy have respect for Rafa as Rafa was tracking his career and wanted to sign him before he left for liverpool. Would be a good foil with El-Nino up front as both of them work hard for the team. Plus their finishing are clinical.

Cech drops Barcelona hint
QUOTE Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has admitted he would be interested in a move to Barcelona. The Czech international was a key member of the Stamford Bridge side that won back to back Premier League titles. He missed a large chunk of last season after suffering a fractured skull in a clash with Reading's Stephen Hunt, but battled his way back to full fitness. If Cech were to leave, it would be a huge loss to Blues boss Avram Grant who would need to recruit a world-class replacement. Interest Cech told a Czech website: "Can I imagine staying in England? That I cannot answer. "So far I have been very happy at Chelsea and I have started to love the Premier League. I have got used to life in London and my wife and I like it. "But in the case of Barcelona showing interest, yes, certainly it would be worth considering." http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_2882876,00.html |

Rafa ready to sell Carson
QUOTE Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez concedes he will not stand in Scott Carson's way should he wish to make his loan move to Aston Villa permanent. Carson has impressed everyone at Villa Park since joining Martin O'Neill's side in the summer on a season-long loan. His excellent form has prompted an England call-up and he is expected to make his first international start on Friday evening against Austria. However, Benitez has always maintained that Jose Reina is his first choice and with this in mind, is ready to let Carson quit Anfield. A deal is in place for Carson's loan move to turn into a permanent arrangement, at a figure thought to be in the region of 10million, and it does now look as though his future lies away from Merseyside. Second fiddle "You can understand that he wants to play. He knows Pepe Reina is top class and that it will be difficult for him to play here," said Benitez on the club's official website. "Scott is a good professional and a nice boy. This is a crucial time in his career and he needs to play. At the moment we are concentrating on our own team and our own competitions, but Villa can decide if they want to keep the player. "At the moment we have Pepe, Charles Itandje and David Martin as goalkeepers so we can manage the situation okay." http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_2883699,00.html |

CECH CLARIFIES STORIES
Petr Cech has issued a statement in response to media reports concerning the player. The statement reads: 'There are a few stories that have appeared today in the press quoting me that I was interested in a move to Barcelona. 'I am very happy at Chelsea and this is where I see my future.' http://www.chelseafc.com/page/NewsHomePage...1168952,00.html |

Inter Milan's Ibrahimovic drops Real Madrid bombshell
Inter Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has dropped a bombshell by admitting he harbours ambitions of playing for Real Madrid. The super Swede said: "They're one of the biggest clubs in the world and everyone in the world wants to play for them. "Nobody knows the future. I have a long contract with Inter Milan, but in football, you never know what's around the corner." However, Ibra insists the new round of crowd violence in Italy won't drive him away from Serie A. He added: "I have no fear when playing in Italy because there is a lot of protection. All the players have long and important contracts and are not responsible for what is happening. Unlike (Fabio) Cannavaro, I think I'm lucky to play in Italy where I'm very happy at the moment." http://www.tribalfootball.com/article.php?id=65227 This post has been edited by Soulsareworthless: Nov 18 2007, 01:28 PM |

Man City go for Messi with 150M pot
Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson is being given a 150 MILLION transfer warchest by chairman Thaksin Shinawatra. The Mail on Sunday says the bulk of the spending will take place next summer and the club believe that no player will be considered out of their price range. That could even lead to spectacular bids for the likes of Barcelona's South American pair Leo Messi and Ronaldinho, or Brazilian playmaker Kaka, of AC Milan, although nailing down such big names is another matter. Eriksson will use his wealth of experience and knowledge of the world football scene in an attempt to make the City of Manchester Stadium dressing-room the most powerful in the Premier League. The Swede intends to provide the kind of challenge to neighbours Manchester United that City fans have scarcely been able to dream about. The initial January flurry, with at least three high-priced players coming in, will be to ensure European qualification next season. "There is no doubt Mr Thaksin means business," said a source close to the club. "He wants the best for the team and its supporters and he is prepared to throw in fortunes to get it." http://www.tribalfootball.com/article.php?id=65520 |

Real are following the attacking midfielder, but those close to Coutinho say his family are yet to be contacted officially by the Spanish giants about a move to Europe. Agent claims United want Veloso
Utd will most likely get him if they are interested in him as they have good connection with that club. As they have signed Nani and Ronaldo from there. Hence I don't see any difficulty for Utd to sign him |

I believe that they have Gago in their books. So they can replace him in the centre midfield in his place as he is still quite young. If he is inadequate replacement they can simply go out and buy a new midfielder.
Doubt that Cesc will be going to Real. The only top player that they can prise of could be Kaka as the violence in Italy football has increased. |

Yup he might signed an extension contract but that doesn't mean he will not move in the future. Anything can happen in the space of few months. In football you can simply say never. A contract will not stop the player from moving if he desire to do so. As in the modern football players have power over the club because money dictate the transfer. |

The rumour that caught my eye the most is the 150million transfer fund Man City is getting. Should be interesting to see who they will be getting.

Tevez price is right for United
Looks like Fergie will be securing Tevez deal permanently quickly. He must be convinced with his current display for Utd. This post has been edited by qspn: Nov 26 2007, 12:06 AM |

I don't think he will be motivated to join city as there are not a big club. I doubt he will move as Barca done alot for him when he got some health problem at his early stage of his career.
