badminton racket around rm100 entry level, string around rm35 bg66, shuttle around rm5-9/pc depends on quality.
average 1 game use 1 shuttle for beginner.
court fee ranging from rm8/hr (gomen court) or around 20-40/hr depending on time and location.

no idea for tennis though although the racket and tennis ball assume to be much more lasting, could be cheaper

now 2 racquet and 10 shuttle cock good quality i bought recently from mr diy for RM30. I thought it's probably gonna be shiat but it's shockingly as light as few hundred RM raquet I had in the past. net also was RM10 or something.

I feel tennis ball don't really last long and tennis racquet have to be expensive to be light weight.

courts wise, you don't need to rent badminton court if your taman got one or you can just use your house gate or abandoned house punya gate.

Overall badminton definitely cheaper. If tennis was cheap we malaysians wouldve started playing a long time ago already.
