If you are buying over all the 4 shares & become a single owner of the title , should not be an issue. Engage a lawyer to deal with the transaction even though you are paying by cash. The agent says:

If you are co-buyer of the shared title & become the joint owner, I think avoid at all cost . The issue of becoming co-owner, when one of the owner died & pass the land to their descendants ( many names ) & one of their descendants refuse to sell when you intend to exit , it will create some hassle.
