Harry Kane is currently 29 years old. The same age, when Robbie Van Persie joined our club - the last striker that we can rely on to score a goal, consistently.
When Wout Weghorst joins us on loan, I read the comment from EtH:

' He’s a goalscorer definitely but also a type who will work for the team, who is a really good pressing player in defending, so he can contribute [there] as well.'
Aside from being a goalscorer, Kane has good defending stats, too, compared to other strikers.
Kane has nowhere to go if Spurs failed to qualify Champions League next season, at least, if he still wants to play in England. Early this season, City got Haaland, Liverpool with Nunez, and Arsenal with Jesus.
What about Chelsea? Compared to them, Man Utd in the present moment is in a better position where we are higher ranked in the Premier League, higher possibility of playing the Champions League next season, and also, Chelsea is the Spurs' London rival.
With the possibility of Spurs not playing Champions League, combined with an expiring contract in June 2024, Spurs has no choice but to win any trophy to convince Kane to renew the contract. If they fail to do that, they may resort to selling Kane, even for a discounted price.
The only question left is - does EtH want him?
