So I am using Maybank card for UberEat in New Zealand. Transaction decline many times. Called Maybank twice to no avail. Then I happen to have Singapore DBS card. Transaction went through. Anyone experiences similar situation?

Yeh ytd I order McDonald and drink and also my Uber ride using the card was fine. Then today UberEat not working. Fml

2 months ago was in the US for work, tried uber eats apps too, failed on payments as well using my malaysian cc hsbc as well as my bigpay card

There was a $20 code for first time user that I couldn’t use because of this 😂

Anxiety manageable. At times depressed. But not clinical. Just sleep through when depressed. Limiting my work to 8 hours a day for sanity sake (it's own time own target as I am doing PhD).

I use Apple pay. Using Malaysian Maybank card in multiple countries since I travel a lot for work. No issues.

Before going out of the country, call Maybank to inform them you are going to use your card outside of the country from when to when. Else it will be blocked most of the time for security purposes.

you didnt enable overseas transaction.
sometimes, some services are blocked by default as they are default scammer laundering option.

Example.
Public Bank will block Steam by default because Steam doesnt have 2FA for credit card.

Yeh I already activated the overseas e-commerce. The Maybank rep also said there is no issue on Maybank side and says it is Uber eat that is declining it. Yet my DBS card works.

It happened to me with an online game. But this time they rejected my obersea card but accepted my local card. Rare but happened.

Check with Uber rep then. Maybe they flag the card.

Why cannot use? USA block Malaysia debit and credit card???

That is why you need Amex for overseas usage

It's normal for card not to work.
Shop A: card X ok, card Y not ok.
Shop B: card X not ok, card Y ok.
This is too common.

Probably scam blocking mechanism doing its thing.
