Budget max 70k km
For 2nd car daily workforce
70km daily drive to office and back
My priorities: comfort, NVH, reliability, fc

Tested ativa. Okay2 je la. Still skeptical about a 3 cylinder engine.
Which one do you think is better?

get full spec ativa, for that price and if anything happens, you'll be thankful the safety features are there to help you.

Whoops, voted before reading.
What’s your prev/first car? That’ll let us gauge nvh standard.

3 cylinder you can feel the vibes, but not as obvs as I expected. Fc will be good, nvh a bit loud.

Not sure about Jazz, would recommend Yaris, feels good, comfortable.

Throwing 16 Camry into the ring for comfort and nvh. 2.0 so fc may be a bit of a concern.

My current car is x70 and vw polo. This purchase would be a replacement for the polo.

Only looking for a hatchback. Also boot size need to be a good size too to fit my laundry basket. That's why i already excluded myvi luls. Believe yaris boot is also small like the myvi.

Since you want a decent boot size, between the 2 options you have listed, go with the Ativa.

Alza is similarly priced w 4cyl engine and has 500 liter boot space w 3rd row seats folded. Handles better too due to 2750mm wheelbase

Yup. No need full specs. Either AlzaX or AtivaX both ard 63K has way MORE safety than Jazz 2018.

Just the waiting is ridiculously long

As someone who maintain multiple old fleet car above 200k km, my advise to ts is, just get new car. at least 150k km no big problem happen. and ativa vs jazz, dont think can feel much difference in everything, unless ts said ativa vs civic or ativa vs accord.

In this case Ativa will work best. Alza too. Jazz boot isn't great unless you fold the rear seats.

Yeah, when your infotainment decide to hang, and then viral it on FB (which already happened), then I'll be laughing at the new car owners with the so-called aftermarket infortainment installed by Perodua. laugh.gif

Anything Honda Malaysia just avoid la especially those build during their 100K sales units per year era. The CKD quality is bad and the parts are low quality mostly made in Thailand and China. Have a HRV first generation. Many major components went kaput before and after warranty. Owning an Ativa now close to 2 years. Enjoyed the driving the car.

BTW, if i were u.. I will skip both of the choice and get a used Suzuki Swift Sport 1.6 + 6-speed manual.. brows.gif
I rather get a fun car to drive to work daily, if kept stock and maintain as usual it can also be a reliable daily sport hatch.. thumbsup.gif

Bro,

Bezza is the worst handling car u can buy in this country.

Consider only for FC and slow city drives.
