It's officially announced on official site too. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(1up) Katsuhiko Ichii, Capcom's managing corporate officer, explained the decision to Thompson Financial News (via Gamasutra). "Due to high development cost of titles for PS3, we have decided to switch the platform to which we release our Monster Hunter 3 title," Ichii said. While it remains unclear whether Monster Hunter 3 is now a Wii exclusive, or simply being released on both Wii and PS3, this quote seems to suggest the former. Either way, the fact remains: the most popular new console in Japan just got that much more powerful. source from 1up, 10/10/2007- - - - - - - External Link- MONSTER HUNTER|モンスターハンター 公式ポータルサイト; - Wikipedia; - PS3.IGN.com; - Wii.IGN.com; Trailers- Teaster (JPN Conference), October 10, 2007This post has been edited by penman: Oct 11 2007, 10:23 AM

QUOTE(tro11 @ Sep 26 2008, 08:39 AM) I'm actually a little disappointed that it's not going to be 360/ps3. I'm afraid it'll end up being a ps2 port with different controls. it's all about cost... capcom said it's 2 costly to dev for PS3...

QUOTE(tro11 @ Sep 26 2008, 01:44 PM) I don't see them rebuilding the engine for the wii when it's similar to ps2 tho. So more than likely it'll be gameplay tweaking & control change up. I don't even think they'll honestly cater to the wiimote, will probably favor gamepad/cube controller. I dunno, it may be nice but I feel the wii's strength really lies in games that take advantage of less realistic graphics & good wiimote controls. that's what they (capcom) claimed... >_<

QUOTE(tro11 @ Mar 17 2009, 10:40 PM) I wouldn't mind playing if we had better broadband. No point paying for services when you end up frustrated with the pathetic speed & latency. try P1? I'm a happy P1 user! btw... China's internet damn... FAST!

This is exciting! - - - - - OTT: P1 is great! I was told 10th floor and above will have weak signal (like any other wireless broadcast), but I have no problem. yes, it's 20GB cap, and I have yet to reach 20GB cap a month. the only problem I've encountered is suddenly I can't login and play WoW or download the patch. This started 2 weeks ago. I was communicating with Blizzard/P1 support. For some reason, P1 just can't connect to WoW (can't traceroute/ping the server). P1's customer service is excellent (despite the fact they couldn't fix my problem)! They are waiving 2 weeks for me! - - - - -

@why: I will~loh... quite looked forward for this game since the announcement! I'll get 1 Classic Pro! but not sure abt wii speaks, as I don't want to buy single item accessory for specific game, which can't be utilised for other games (yes, I know Animal Crossing uses Speak, and my AC is collecting dust!).

QUOTE(why_79 @ Mar 5 2010, 03:34 PM) yes that's my point exactly so that's why heavy hearted to pick up the wii speak and classic controller, the CC bundle with game might still consider but depending on how much PA charge for it as they have a knack for absorbing shipment cost into the product price for heavy item like what they did with the wii zapper bundle. maybe GH will have a good deal for this game, time to pay them a visit soon. 4get GH... get from stevechan (LYN Reputable trader) based in JB. His shipping is comparative+faster than PA!!! but always check price+stock availability from our boss - kyo 1st!
