paying online is good, finally those "freeloaders" on the wii will have to pay for something....  whistling.gif

but seriously online is an integral part of the monster hunter experience, having to pay online is well, kinda unexpected.... unless they give the game out free.  hmm.gif

unexpected meh? since last time already have to pay to play online liao

20USD for 3 months lol~

20 ringgit for 3 months then i play la~

if u play online from HR1 then not really worth it since u can solo till HR4 5 6 (for psp la) but for Wii i believe its the same also lol

after that then only go online to play with others also can wink.gif

I wouldn't mind playing if we had better broadband. No point paying for services when you end up frustrated with the pathetic speed & latency.

The fee for MH3 is considered cheap compared to their previous games. I paid about 900yen 5 years ago for MH1 but that was hosted by KDDI and it allows a customer to play all games hosted by them for 1 fee. (e.g CvS2, KoF)

Monster Hunter Frontier for PC was very much more expensive as I paid 1500yen a month and an additional RM15 a month for VPN. There are additional charges if one wants to access high level quests much much later, about 300yen iirc. If you want to enlarge your trophy room have to pay an additional 100 yen I think. I quit after a few months because it was ridiculous.

This is exciting! thumbup.gif

OTT:

P1 is great! thumbup.gif

I was told 10th floor and above will have weak signal (like any other wireless broadcast), but I have no problem.

yes, it's 20GB cap, and I have yet to reach 20GB cap a month.

the only problem I've encountered is suddenly I can't login and play WoW or download the patch. This started 2 weeks ago.

I was communicating with Blizzard/P1 support.

For some reason, P1 just can't connect to WoW (can't traceroute/ping the server).

P1's customer service is excellent (despite the fact they couldn't fix my problem)! They are waiving 2 weeks for me! thumbup.gif
