I already bought similar devices when I got my MBP 16" 2019, so these were unnecessary and self indulging splurges again after getting the MBP 14" 2023 sweat.gif

Currently already own:
1) Baseus Blade 100w Power Bank
2) Mcdodo 120w Charger
3) Samsung T5 1TB SSD

Just recently bought:
1) Anker 737 140w Power Bank
2) Anker 736 Nano II 100W Charger
3) Samsung T7 2TB SSD

How are the power banks?

The Baseus I find the efficiency not so good. Not to mention the footprint is so freaking wide.
The Anker is only a few days old, but so far not bad. Can fully charge my MBP 14ā€ 1 full charge.
It is a heavy brick though brick though.

I hope with Sonoma Apple finally fixes the auto switching for AirPods btw iOS & MacOS. It hasn't been working properly for years!

They did mention in the latest WDCC they will improve the switching experience in the latest OS/firmware...

Indeed. If comparing the same spec of 16/512gb it is more worth it to go for MBP 14ā€ since the difference is not significant and one gets a lot more with MBP.

Only reason why one should go for the MBA 15-inch should be just due to the weight.
*
1.51kg VS 1.6kg. Hardly any weight difference IMO.
And in terms of portability, the 14ā€ is actually more portable with a smaller footprint than the 15ā€ Air.

The only reason to go for 15ā€ is for the bigger screen size for those who only wants to use it for multimedia and light tasks e.g ms word/excel etc.

Do you all use a monitor? What model?

Using Lenovo g27q-20, was among the best price-performance during that time for a gaming monitor

You use your MacBook Pro to game?
Who here owns a MacBook Pro and still do gaming? Now I’m starting to miss a bit of gaming. Haha but I’m supposed to spend more time reading!! šŸ˜…

Hahah not really, I did download some games but didn't even play them. I have a windows laptop that I use for games, but I stopped gaming few years back.

Anyone else's M2 Pro battery draining faster than usual? My MBP used to be able to last 6-8 hours, but it's dying after around 4 hours with the same usage for the past months.
Battery health is still 95% with 92 cycles only...
