Hi guys. From personal experience (I've seen over 200 Macbooks in my school), the white had the discoloration issue during the Core Duo model. When it was updated to Core 2 Duo, reports said that the discoloration had been fixed. However, the white can still be dirtied easily. The black will definitely not show dirt marks that easily.

MacBook Pros have no color/stain problems that can be spotted. Minor ones only.
