In his novel, he automatically is the strongest with 9solar and energy-flow skill, before learning taijiquan. No comparison at all with the previous masters. The others in the story are simply too weak.

He is not the only one with strong internal energy in Jin Yong universe.

Eh, i thought 9solar only give him the perquisite in terms of having enough raw energy to generate the flow and learn energy-flow skill? Cause 9 solar is mainly a Qi generate skill.

Cause energy-flow skill is the real deal that make him pearless. But in order to use and learn the skill, the basic is to have a strong internal energy. Thats why normal practitioner tooks decades to complete it.

Think back, this is a bit IMBA cause it means whoever with strong Qi can learn it fast. No wonder they only limit to the Sect Leader to learn it.

Guo Jing at least has better back story. lol. He needs to learn for years to get to that level.

Actually this create a slightly paradox. That fellow dont want to learn it initially cause he doesnt want to destroy the image of safe guarding the manual.
